Is not only a true Cowboy participating in various rodeo events, he is also an Oil and Gas Landman with integrity and grit and a person I am proud to call my friend and mentor. "Mac" has offered his time and physical labor in an effort to assist me with my fight of a rare and debilitating disease. "The Great Western Experiment" is his brain child to not only use whatever resources he has, but to inspire others to do the same to assist those in need. I am McKennon "Mac" Laas of Boerne, Texas and I'm proud to announce an exciting project that I have been working on for a little bit: "The Great Western Experiment".
The Great Western Experiment is all about positive growth, helping others, and cultivating the western philanthropic mindset in your community, state and world.

Western Philanthropy is a mindset, a personal philosophy, and will be an ongoing saga illustrating how the our western lifestyle continues to promote those core values of taking care of one's neighbors, giving more than you take, and being a person of integrity. The Great Western Experiment intends to shine light on those parties that are truly concerned with the betterment of their fellow man!

We have chosen to share our personal experience's and stories through social media in an effort to reach as much of the world as possible. The Great Western Experiment's goal is not only to raise funds and assistance for these persons; but to be an example to others so they too will spread the message. We want to leave this world a little better than we found it.
